Original language description
The hybrid cooling tower is a combination of the advantages of a wet and a dry cooling tower. The hybrid cooling tower can serve not only as a dry heat exchanger but also as a wet cooling tower. The role of the cooling fills is substituted by the dry section of the hybrid tower, which is made of the fine tubes. Thermal characteristics of the cooling towers are measured in three different modes - the wet, the dry and the hybrid cooling tower mode with recirculation.
