Influence of geometric configuration of the acoustic-structural system on deformation characteristics
Original language description
This thesis deals with the impact of modification of the geometrical configuration of the acoustic-structural system on the reduction of the effect of adverse vibration of the model of the car engine cowling. There is optimized proper geometrical adjustment of the structural part of the analyzed system aiming the suppression of the transfer of excitation energy between acoustic medium and the model of the car engine cowling keeping the required mass properties of the system. Sensitivity analysis of the system is done on the various geometrical modifications of the system to target the reduction of the emission of the noise fields of the large subassemblies of the vehicles. The developed computational tool of interacting heterogeneous environments is using the finite element method.
