Color Laser Marking of Stainless Steel

Original language description

This article focuses on stainless steel laser marking and especially use of this technology for creating color inscriptions. In the first part laser marking is described together with specifications of stainless steel. The experimental part follows, with description of used laser and analysis of chromium nickel austenitic steel and results. Selected graphic motives has been created with different values of laser settings. To evaluate the resulting graphic motives and their colors visual inspection in the day light was used.
