Original language description
UV-VIS electronic fluorescence analyzer used for oil and grease detection replaces nonobjective and demanding testing methods of contaminated surfaces. Optical-electronic analysis is used, luminescence of contaminants is monitored and then transformed with software into digital image output and in case of existence of just one type of oil contamination present on the surface, the software computes directly the mean values of surface concentration and layer thickness. The article deals with possibilities of use UV-VIS fluorescence analyzer for detection of degreasing baths and service fluids contamination.
