    Precise Localization of High-Frequency Noise Source of a Heater Using an Acoustic Camera

    This article deals with a determination of an exact place where a disturbing, high-frequency noise comes from an independent vehicle heater (IVH) body. Unfortunately, it was not possible to detect the exact position of the noise source using a special sound level meter. Therefore, an acoustic camera “Noise Inspector” had to be applied in order to find exact position of the place where the high-frequency noise comes from. The applicability of the camera and its limitation are described as well.
