On finite element approximation of flow induced vibration of an elastic structure
Original language description
The fluid-structure interaction is studied on a simplified model of the human vocal fold. This problem is mathematically described, where the arbitrary LagrangianEulerian method is used in order to solve fluid motion on the time dependent domain. The viscous incompressible fluid flow and linear elasticity models are considered. Then the numerical approximation of the fluid flow and the motion of elastic body are derived with help of finite element method. The whole algoritm is implemented in the in-house developed solver. Numerical results investigating the influence of different inlet velocities are showed.
