Original language description
This paper deals with a numerical simulation of thermomechanical phenomena and fluid flow inside a small chamber that will serve as a calibration chamber for the measurement of density using LIF method. The chambers temperature is being adjusted to approximately 250 K by utilizing two Peltier tiles. The chamber will be filled with air and air is also the medium used for the simulation. Inside the chamber there will form a free convection due to the difference of temperature of the cooled side and the heat-absorbing rest of the chamber. That also means that there will be a nonhomogeneous temperature field. Precise description of said field is vital for fulfilment of the calibration requirements. The paper also deals with choosing of an appropriate fluid flow model and setting of a commercial numerical solver for simulation of this problem, and also includes solutions for several chosen approaches.
