Original language description
This paper deals with design and optimization of a passive vibration absorber with multiple degrees of freedom. The basic structure of the absorber is a single mass attached to the body of interest using spring elements, instead of adding extra system to each direction of motion. The main idea is to absorb vibrations of the body in multiple axes of motion at the time, with respect to a specified frequency interval or maximal velocities, using optimized parameters, such as rigidity of elastic elements or dumping coeficient. The geometry of whole structure brings no less important contribution to this optimization concept.
