Original language description
This report describes the evaluation of thermocompression engine concept. The working principle is based on modification of the traditional Otto 4 stroke engine in usage of heat exchanger which should regenerate waste heat from exhaust gases to preheat cylinder charge. This report uses idealized thermodynamic cycle to evaluate thermal efficiency of the engine and compares it to the commonly used engine types.
