Original language description
The paper deals with detailed 3-D CFD model o diesel engine. The turbulence modeling is based on LES approach, the spray uses Lagrangian particles and the combustion is modeled by means of detailed chemical kinetics approach. The results are compared with experimental data. The main conclusions are drawn: the model is very time demanding, however its predictive ability is very high.
