    Heat Pump Combined with PV for Single-Family House

  • Original language description

    Simulation model of energy system consisting of ground-source heat pump combined with PV and thermal storage tanks for single-family house was developed. PV system is connected to the heat pump for domestic hot water preparation and space heating. Energy system allows to maximize usage of PV power by means of overcharging the volume of storage tanks by heat pump with use of adaptive control. Further, parametric analysis incorporating different PV system power installed was carried out. With respect to the total electrical energy consumption of the heat pump the annual grid consumption may be reduced by up to 40 %.
