Original language description
In this work the numerical resolution of shock wave interaction with laminar or turbulent boundary layer on suction side of turbine blade is attempted within the framework of Favre averaged Navier-Stokes equations. Three turbulence models are considered: two variants of SST model complemented by intermittency models and a k-w model modified by Kubacki and Dick for transition to turbulence. The best results are obtained using the y-Z: model, while the Menter-Smirnov y model is not able to capture the Reynolds number dependency of the type of interaction (laminar or turbulent) and the modified k-w (Kubacki-Dick) model produces mostly only turbulent type of interaction.
