This paper deals with the development of an in-line quality control system for inspection of extrusion production process of ceramic chimney pipes. This is an objective from a more complex innovation of production process consisting of new cutting technology of extruded material, new process of automated manipulation, and innovated process of machining of chimney pipes. All these innovations are aimed at increasing productivity and quality of a production with substantial reduction of a human element in all of these processes.
