    Modelling of Swelling and Deformations of Homogenous Hydrogel

    The mechanical properties of swollen gels are complex. They are very soft materials. For their description, it is necessary to use hyperelastic material models. Another complication is the swelling process, which may not always have only one solution. The finite element method finds only one solution. If you need to find another solution, you need to modify the model. The work shows how program an algorithm for solving problems with non-convex material description. The procedures were tested on simple isotropic, 1D or spherical symmetric tasks.
