The energy consumption optimization is very favorite direction of the today automotive research. The energy save can be achieved in many ways, but the possibilities for it is restricted by the vehicle powertrain concept. The HEV powertrain concept is suitable for the energy save optimization, because the recuperation can be realized by the electric recuperation way and the thermal recuperation way. The contribution is focused on the drive power distribution between ICE and EM in the HEV powertrain.
