Analysis of the effect of the cleaning agents on the safety of the cleaned systems

  • Original language description

Every industrial and power equipment must be regularly cleaned, even indoors, often in the inaccessible places (piping, valves, heaters, coolers and other indoor surfaces). The cleaning can be performed both mechanically (blasting, grinding, brushing) and chemically (pickling, derusting, chemical polishing) or combined methods by physical-chemical methods (plasma cleaning, ultrasonics, degreasing and high-pressure cleaning). It is necessary to assess the size and type of fouling and technological options of the chosen method. The article deals with the analysis of the problem and analysis of the cleaning of the inner surface of the cooling device and the finding of the most appropriate (the most optimal) way of cleaning. After the cleaning agents were analyzed, a cleaned flushing method was applied to the cleaned device when the agent circulated in a closed loop. The most optimal cleaning agent and cleaning method were well-chosen after analyzes and material analysis. Copper was removed from the cleaned surface. This is shown on endoscopic images before and after cleaning. The issue of cleaning internal surfaces has a great deal of importance now and in the future with ever-increasing energy and water prices.
