Original language description
The article focuses on the accuracy improvement of results obtained through virtual numerical simulations in field of sheet metal forming. The research is more focused towards the outer and inner car body panels. Main motivation behind the research is, that the requirements on the quality of the production and final dimensional accuracy increased significantly in the last years. These requirements is possible to accomplish with help of numerical simulations which are commonly used in automotive pre-production. The paper describes current trends in the numerical simulations, which help to improve the overall reliability of the results. Particular topics are described with help of car body panels from automotive company ŠKODA AUTO, a.s.
