Original language description
Creep feed grinding technology is one of the most productive machining methods. It can be used for effectively machining materials that are very poorly or even non-machinable by other technologies. Very poorly machinable materials include nickel based superalloys, which are mainly used in the aerospace and energy industries due to their resistance and stability at higher temperatures. The fact that the nickel based material is very resistant to temperatures of 700 °C causes very poor heat dissipation from the cutting point, thus ensuring good cooling.
