Computational Model for Transient Behaviour of 2-stroke Engine Brake
Original language description
A thermodynamic model (1-D) of a heavy duty diesel engine with fully parametric valve lift profiles (both engine brake and standard lift profiles) with the possibility to study transient behavior of engine brake engagement and disengagement. The model enables to observe all important parameters during different initial operating conditions and avoid exceeding of limits. The influence of the engagement order of each engine brake lift profile can be studied after easy edit of the model.
