    This article deals with the design of the optimization of the rotor groove closing workplace in the company SOPO Inc. engaged in the manufacture and winding of electric motors. The introductory part of the article is devoted to the analysis of the current state of the workplace of closing the grooves. Based on the analysis, the optimization of assembly technologies at the workplace and also the optimization of the workplace itself as a whole is proposed in the next part of the work. The final part is devoted to the technical and economic evaluation of the selected optimization proposal of the workplace.
