ANALYSIS OF TOOL STEEL 1.2709 PRODUCED BY METALLIC 3D PRINTING
Original language description
With the advent of metallic 3D printing, this technology still has some limitations in the field of usable materials. The material that can be found in all manufacturers and can be used in the field of HPDC tools is precipitation hardenable tool steel 1.2709. This article analyzes tool steel 1.2709, which is produced by the method of metal 3D printing (DMLS) and heat-treated according to specific working conditions from industrial practice. The ConceptLaser M2 Cusing system was used to produce test samples for Tensile Test and Charpy Impact Test.
