    Producing a complex shape by metal 3D printing is almost standard today. However, even this modern technology still has its limitations and the manufactured parts cannot be used without further modification. Machining remains one of the most common finishing methods after DMLS technology. In this article, an additively produced part with a complex-shaped surface was machined with a special tool and under certain conditions. Subsequently, the surface quality and dimensional accuracy of the part were evaluated after the operation.
