Original language description
The goal is research and development of a shock absorber that is able to respond to a change of vehicle load. Change of the damping characteristic is realized in the discrete steps only for two or three cases (fully loaded, half loaded and empty vehicle) to limit the cost for a new damper layout and control system. This change of damping characteristic results in increasing vehicle safety and higher riding comfort.
