Original language description
The functional specimen of the gearbox for transversal disposition in the drivetrain equipped with automation system dedicated for the gearshift on the shift test stand. The gearbox was equipped with the new shift dog clutch with minimal circular backlash in the shifted position. Once the speed should be disengaged the movement of the external shift mechanism unlocks the blocking ring, the tapered sides of the dogs help the clutch to be disengaged in very short time. The specific procedure for automation was proposed which can further save the shift time – crucial parameter for successful usage of automated gearboxes in serial production.
