Structural Health Monitoring During White-Noise Vibration Testing Using Total Harmonic Distortion
Original language description
This work describes a real-time structural health monitoring approach of vibration testing assembly consisting of shaker, testing frame and tested component. The shaker generates excitation in form of white noise and total harmonic distortion of measured acceleration response is computed. Causing a simulated damage to the structure led to noticeable changes in computed values. The measurements are performed on experimental setup with LDS V830 shaker.
