Advanced Suspension System with Two-Degree-Of-Freedom Hybrid Mass Dampers
Original language description
Historical review and Full explanation about types of dampers are presented. The benefits and drawbacks of using two degrees of freedom rather than one degree in vibration suspension are discussed in this study. Dual-Loop Controller (DLC) with two-degree-of-freedom (rotational and displacement) Hybrid Mass Damper (HMD) attached to a single degree of freedom primary system is studied. The proposed model aims to improve the performance of damping and reduce energy consumption with achieving the fail-safe behavior.
