The development of print thin-walled construction by DMLS technology
Original language description
The subject of the experiment is to find the optimal printing strategy for printing thin-walled samples produced by the DLMS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering) method. The test specimens are made of AISI 316L stainless steel. The samples are printed by four different printing strategies, which are specially selected for thin-walled structures and designed in a simulation program, where the stress and strain displacement are displayed in the samples. After printing, a tensile test is performed, from which we obtain mechanical properties. Based on the results, the samples are compared with the parameters given by the metal powder manufacturer. An important part is to compare printing strategies with each other.
