The finalization and surface quality of FDM printed parts
Original language description
This experiment is focused on the visual comparison of surface quality and threaded hole of 3D printed parts by the FDM (Fused Deposit Modeling) methods. The test deals with evaluation of effect of printing parameters such as layer height and material used on final properties. For the experiment was determined specimen containing threaded hole and two through holes. It was important to set up the correct parameters in order to perform required printing quality. Final stage of the experiment was implementation of surface finishing operations to reduce surface roughness and establish potential use of this procedures in industry.
