Original language description
In the present period, the world has been damaged by many disasters that have highly destructive potential. Due to the growing connectivity of the world, the disasters affect large territories and many domains needed for the human security and development. In order to protect human society, the need for specific science is greatly increased, which would formulated theoretical foundations and show the starting point. Because of the complexity of the system in which human society lives, the science in question needs to include elements of sciences: social, legal, sociological, psychological, natural sciences, technical, economic, managerial and informatics. Submitted article shows object and subject, goal and tools of science on safety, which are based on a systemic concept and has a multidimensional character.
