Original language description
The aim of this paper is to present an adjoint method for shape optimisation in turbomachinery with the goal to change flow angle at outlet from a blade cascade. Firstly, the concept of adjoint optimization method is introduced and briefly explained. Afterwards, the methodology is applied on chosen compressor blade cascade GHH 1-S1. Different formulations of cost function are introduced and compared in their capability to change the flow angle at outlet from the cascade.
