    Some Observation Concerning Fatigue Response of Additively Manufactured Specimens from Ti-6Al-4V

  • Original language description

    The aim of this work is to analyze the impact of production parameters and different production additive manufacturing methods on the porosity, roughness, quality of the final product, and its fatigue performance. Unmachined samples were tested, with and without heat treatment. Although differing porosities of the samples were detected across various test series, the surface defects were observed to be much more significant in deciding the final fatigue performance. Cracks initiated from the surface of the specimens.
