Slot Side Measurement with a Commercial Laser Triangulation Sensor
Original language description
We searched for the possibility to modify a commercial laser triangulation sensor for slots and bores side distance measurement. We analyzed our previous approaches with aim to extend width to depth ratio for bore or slot side surface distance measurement. We solved the obscuration problem of the laser illumination and laser spot imaging optical paths with the rearrangement of both paths to its parallel direction. It allows extending the depth of side distance measurement inside bores and slots to no mathematical limit, in theory
