Production and storing of hydrogen
Original language description
The present paper discusses variety of different technologies for the production and storage of hydrogen to address seasonal energy demands. The need for sustainable energy solutions has never been more critical, given the alarming consequences of conventional electricity production on global warming. While electricity generation remains a fundamental aspect of modern society, its heavy reliance on fossil fuels has contributed significantly to greenhouse gas emissions and climate change. This paper emphasizes the importance of adopting eco-friendly hydrogen production methods, which not only offer a clean alternative for seasonal energy needs but also present a pathway to mitigate the adverse impacts of traditional electricity production on the environment. The proposed system shows promising potential in enabling cost effective approach to hydrogen production from excess electrical energy generated from renewable energy combined with long-term hydrogen energy storage. Efficient storage of energy in hydrogen leads to a potential solution for a broad adoption of renewable energy thus reducing carbon emissions which contributesto a more sustainable and climateresilient future.
