    The article describes the main innovations in the open-loop test stand located in laboratories of Institute of Automobiles, ICE and Rail vehicles of CTU in Prague. The stand is designed in such manner, that several devices and different types of procedures can be tested. The dynamometers are mounted on slide linear guides operated with help of screw jacks, so the bend angle of joint shafts can be tuned in large range. The temperature of joints is measured with help of self-designed measurement device, which will be explained. To avoid the unwanted heat transfer from joint to the dynamometer, the connection flanges of the joint shafts to the dynamometers are made of highly alloyed austenitic steel with a lower thermal conductivity than common ferritic steel. The article will also present the results of recent tests.
