  • Original language description

The research report “Materially safe electric drives” is focused on two key areas of electric drives. In the first part of the report, the key elements of electronic converters - switching transistors - are discussed in terms of their design, material requirements and indicative price ranges. The second part of the report is devoted to the material issue of electric machines that can be used in electric vehicle drives. The main attention is paid to narrow-profile materials, needed for the production of electrical machines with high efficiency of converting electrical power into mechanical power.
