  • Original language description

    This study outlines a possible approach to aeroacoustics. An unsteady simulation of a 3D flow field in vicinity of a square cylinder is performed within the OpenFOAM framework using k - ω SST turbulence model. Afterwards, an in-house implementation of Lighthill’s acoustic analogy is discussed using FEM in 2D. The study concludes by presenting results both in the fluid and acoustic domains.
