INFLUENCE OF PRETREATMENT METHODS IN HIGH TEMPERATURE ZINC HOT-DIP GALVANIZING
Original language description
Zinc hot-dip galvanizing is one of the oldest methods of protection against corrosion. The goal of this study was to evaluate the influence of zinc bath temperature, immersion time and surface pretreatment method on the coating quality. Two values of bath temperatures and two immersion times were selected. Two methods of surface pretreatment of the samples were selected for comparison. The surface roughness was measured with a surface roughness tester. The coating thickness was measured with a thickness gauge.
