Comparison of different limiters in MUSCL reconstruction for the numerical solution of compressible flow
Original language description
The contribution deals with the comparison and selection of suitable limiter functions in MUSCL reconstruction, with a focus on high velocity compressible fluid flows. The numerical solution is obtained by the finite volume method based on the HLLC Riemann solver with the MUSCL reconstruction using different limiters. The limiter functions are first tested on the well-known transonic inviscid flow through the GAMM channel, then on the transonic turbulent flow past the RAE 2822 airfoil, and finally on the hypersonic viscous flow over a compressible ramp.
