Fluid-structure interaction (FSI) is a key phenomenon in the study of vocal fold dynamics, see [4]. This paper focuses on the three-dimensional FSI of prestressed vocal folds interacting with incompressible fluid flow. The mathematical problem involves elastic deformation in the structural domain and fluid flow in the fluid domain.
