The article introduces hybrid investment casting technology, which combines traditional investment casting model with the 3D printing of polymer templates. The process is demonstrated using the production of a Škoda 1203 door handle as an example, from model preparation to casting in a plaster mould. This method has proven to be a fast and flexible alternative, ideal for producing individual items and spare parts.
