Original language description
Simulation performed on enlarged model with subsonic flow. Stored computational results (full data) allow any post processing analysis and on real model with subsonic and supersonic flow. Was performed application of new SW for model 2D geometry and comparison with available experimental data to fine-tune applied numeric and possibly selecting better sub-models (e.g., turbulence model)., application of new SW in combination with `real’ 3D geometry (subsonic and transonic flow conditions) and comparison with available experimental data to verify model performance and if needed, additional fine-tuning of mathematical model and numerical algorithm. All of this helped with optimization of restrictor shape to minimize flow separation.
