    Octofilar Resistors with Calculable Frequency Dependence

    We present the results of calculations of the frequency dependence of resistors consisting of eight parallel resistive elements similar in design to the common reversed quadrifilar resistor. At 12906 ohms a commercial octofilar resistor has a smaller frequency dependence than a reversed quadrifilar resistor with comparable spacing but twice the element length.
