This work deals with a physical model of the Rotating Pendulum which serves for research and education at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague. The paper describes design and implementation of a nonlinear control law and related tasks relevant for control theory courses. Issues of theory and practice are demonstrated on the physical system.
