This paper deals with requirements on the design and the manufacturing of electronic equipments applied in the power installations. Comply with requirements ensure uniform technical level of electronic equipments from safety, quality and operating reliability point of view. The paper together deals with demonstrate that electronic equipment is fully in accordance with requirements. The paper is focused on the specification of specified tests and on the safety related mechanical and electrical tests. Their accomplishment is the means for the assessment of conformity and declaration of conformity for this group of electronic equipments
