This paper is focussed on methods of microwave applicators for microwave thermotherapy. Ths is the non-invasive treatment method when the biological tissue absorbs microwave energy and is being heating. The microwave applicator determinates the distribution of the energy from the power generator into the human body. Therefore every applicator must be thoroughly evaluated before it can be used in the therapy. For these measurements we use some types of phantoms of the biological tissue. We use the waterphantom of the biological tissue in our laboratory. The paper is then focussed on the design and the construction of the probe for E-field measurement.
