Communities of interest, engaged with whatever field, maintain huge collections of information, possibly artifacts or even knowledge. Being active participants in on-line heritage forums various experts as well as amateur ethusiasts become authors of narratives, which they tend to make available for public exploration. Storytelling is a natural method by which members of a community communicate, learn and build identity. Narrative authoring requires not only analysis and exploration of these collectionsbut further research of multiple web and printed resources. In this report we describe both methodologies and tools that can be used to support communities of interest in their storytelling activities. Two such tools are described in detail. First, Dynamical Narrative Authoring tool (DNAt) is an integrated development environment for story authoring enabled to organize knowledge into various knowledge structures for their reuse and exploration.
