    On the Perpendicular Coax-Microstrip Transition

  • Original language description

    The perpendicular coax-microstrip transition was studied using two kind of standard SMA connectors. A A generalized equivalent circuit along with parameter for Arlon 25a substrate is proposed. The low-pass nature, parasitic resonance and unwanted radiation of a perpendicular transition are demonstrated. Simulated data were verified by measurement in the frequency range 0.045-15 GHz.
