Synthesis of Planar Antennas with the use of Higher Order Modes Resonances
Original language description
The usage of higher order modes for realization of two planar antennas with dualband performance and higher directivity has been studied the help of IE3D planar simulator. 2.4/5 GHz linearly polarized dualband microstrip patch antenna that is designed bynovel concept that uses basic TM10 and modified TM21 modes for achieving dualband performance with the demanded linear polarization in both frequency bands has been studied as a first example. 2.45 GHz three half-wavelength slot radiator has been simulated as a second example. Structures of both radiators have been modified in such a way so that broadside radiation has been achieved to be able to use them in an array.
