    Waveguide with a Partition in the H-plane Analyzed by the Spectral Domain Method

  • Original language description

    Flat waveguide with conductive longitudinally slotted partition in the H plane is analyzed by the spectral domain method in this paper. The emphasis is put on modes with even symmetry of the transversal component of the electric field related to the lineaxis. Two sets of modes have been revealed: the slot-type and the waveguide-type modes. Their dispersion characteristics depending on the cross-sectional size, permittivity and frequency are shown. Practical measurement of the dominant mode propagationconstant confirm theoretical conclusion.
