The Prediction of the Optimal Artificial Lung Ventilation Strategy Using a Model of the Human Respiratory System
Original language description
This study deals with modelling of the human lung structure corresponding to its anatomical structure. An electro-acoustical analogy was used to model the respiratory system. The whole model is computed numerically for a vector of different frequencies, which are used in the clinical practice for artificial lung ventilation. The simulation results can be used to explain the phenomena observed in the clinical practice.
